Abstract:
Objective:To explore the expressions of Bmi-1 protein and C-myc in the endometrioid adenocarcinoma and atypical hyperplasia of endometrium.Methods:Immunohistochemistrical methods was used to explore the expressions of Bmi-1 protein and C-myc in 90 cases of endometrioid adenocarcinoma and 40 cases of atypical hyperplasia of endometrium.Results:The postive rate of Bmi-1 protein in the endometrioid adenocarcinoma and atypical hyperplasia were 83.3% and 55%,respctively.The postive rate of C-myc in the endometrioid adenocarcinoma and atypical hyperplasia of endometrium were 78.9% and 72.5%,respectively.In the endometrioid adenocarcinoma,the expression of Bmi-1 and C-myc were associated with histologic grade,invasion depth,vascular invasion,estrogen receptor α and progesterone receptor,respectively.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was positive correlation between the expression of Bmi-1 protein and that of C-myc(r=0.029,P=0.006).Conclusion:Bmi-1 and C-myc protein may cooperate with each other in the occurrence and development of endometrioid adenocarcinoma.The combined detection of Bmi-1 and C-myc is of certain value in the early diagnosis and development of endometrioid adenocarcinoma.
