Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the expression and clinical significance of serum thioredoxin 1 (Trx1) and haptoglobin (Hp) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Methods:From January 2016 to December 2018,186 patients with non-small cell lung cancer treated in the department of our hospital (experimental group) were selected,and 80 patients (control group) with health checkups in our hospital were selected.Serum Trx1 and Hp levels in two groups were detected.Serum Trx1 and Hp differences in different clinicopathological characteristics were analysed.The diagnostic efficacy of serum Trx1 and Hp in predicting the occurrence of non-small cell lung cancer was analyzed.Results:The levels of serum Trx1 and Hp in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There were significant differences in Trx1 and Hp level between NSCLC patients with a tumor diameter of ≥3 cm,poor differentiation,TNM stage (stageⅢ+IV),and lymph node metastasis and NSCLC patients with tumor diameter of <3 cm,moderate and well differentiation,TNM stage (stageⅠ+Ⅱ),and no lymph node metastasis (P<0.05).The results of the ROC curve showed that the area under the curve for the combined detection of Trx1 and Hp was 0.840,and the sensitivity and specificity were 0.882 and 0.827,respectively.Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that the survival rate of patients with low-level serum Trx1 and Hp was higher than that with high-level patients (P<0.05).Conclusion:Serum Trx1 and Hp expression levels are elevated in NSCLC.Changes in serum Trx1 and Hp levels are related to the progression of NSCLC.Combined detection of serum Trx1 and Hp is of great significance in predicting the occurrence and prognosis of NSCLC.
