Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the association of miR-27a rs895819 variant and risk of non-smoking female lung cancer(LC)in a Chinese Han population.Methods:In the case-control study,genotype distribution of rs895819 in 90 LC cases and 97 age-matched healthy check-up controls were determined by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism assay(PCR-RFLP).The correlation of rs895819 SNPs with the susceptibility to LC was analyzed.Results:The frequencies of the GG genotype and G allele of rs895819 variant were significantly higher in the LC group than that in the control group(P=0.047,P=0.016).Genotype AG+GG showed a significantly increased risk of LC(OR=1.82,95%CI=1.01~3.28,P=0.038).There was significant difference between LC and control group for cooking oil fume exposure(P=0.035).However,The combination of rs895819 SNP and cooking oil fume exposure had no significant influence on non-smoking female LC risk.No significant association was found between rs895819 SNP and clinical pathological parameters by stratified analysis.Conclusion:Allele G within rs895819 was significantly associated with lung cancer risk in a Han non-smoking female population of Northern China.
