Abstract:
Objective:To study the expression of AQP4 in human breast cancer cells,and further explore the effect and mechanism of AQP4 on the proliferation of tumor cells.Methods:Down regulation of aquaporin 4 expression in breast cancer cell lines T47D and MCF-7 was performed by siRNA interference technology.The effect of this downregulation on the proliferation of breast cancer cells was detected and its mechanism was explored.Results:The decrease of AQP4 expression inhibited the proliferation of breast cancer cells.It may be realized through the E-calcium/ERK pathway.Conclusion:AQP4 expression level is positively related to the proliferation of breast cancer cells.The corresponding tumor inhibitors can play a role in controlling tumor growth.
