Abstract:
Objective：To understand the relationship between the quality of life of elderly patients with end-stage cancer and their relationship with social support and psychological resilience，and to explore the mechanisms of social support and psychological resilience affecting elderly patients with end-stage cancer.Methods：From January 2017 to January 2018，138 inpatients in my ward were the subjects of the study.FACT-G Chinese version questionnaire was used to measure the patient's quality of life.MSPSS questionnaire was used to measure the patient's social support.RS-14 questionnaire was used to measure the patient's mental toughness.Results：Age has a significant effect on the quality of life of elderly patients with end-stage cancer.Among them，the quality of life of patients older than 71 years of age was significantly lower than that of other groups.Social support（P<0.01) and psychological resilience（P<0.01) were positively correlated with patient's quality of life and its four dimensions.The overall score of FACT-G was related to its four dimensions.Social support and psychological resilience had a significant positive impact on quality of life.Conclusion：Medical workers can improve their external social support and internal psychological resilience through the implementation of specific social psychological interventions，thereby helping elderly patients with end-stage cancers to maintain a good state of survival，relieve their suffering，and improve their quality of life.
