Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the correlation of prognostic nutritional index and geriatric nutritional risk index in elderly patients with esophageal cancer.Methods:Nutritional indexs of 43 cases of elderly patients with esophageal cancer were retrospectively analyzed and correspondingly tested by statistics.Results:In this study,PNI<45(malnutrition group) had 9 people,accounting for 20.93%.GNRI<98(risk value group) had 17 people,accounting for 39.53%.There were significant differences in body mass index,albumin,prealbumin,red blood cell,hemoglobin and lymphocyte value between the good nutrition group and the malnutrition group in PNI value.There were significant differences in body mass index,albumin,prealbumin,hemoglobin,and PNI in the GNRI normal group,the low-risk group and the middle and high risk group.There was a linear dependency between PNI and GNRI.Conclusion:PNI and GNRI are good indicators for monitoring nutritional status,and there is a dependency relationship,which can be used as a basic indicator of nutritional risk screening.
