Abstract:
Objective:To detect the expression of long non-coding RNA H19 in the HCC and adjacent normal hepatic tissues,and analyze the relationship of its expression with invasion and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods:All 59 cases of HCC and adjacent normal hepatic tissues were collected.The routine pathological examination was made after the HE staining.The expression level of H19 was detected by QRT-PCR method.Results:The expression level of H19 was significantly decreased in HCC tissues,when compared with the corresponding adjacent normal hepatic tissues.There was no significant difference in HBV,HCV infection and virus negative group with respect to the ratio of H19 expression level in cancer to that in normal tissues.The ratio in the intrahepatic metastasis group was significantly lower than that in no metastasis group.Conclusion:The long non-coding RNA H19 is down-regulated in HCC tissues.The ratio of H19 expression level in cancer to that in adjacent normal hepatic tissue is related with intrahepatic metastasis.
